We are a live event production company that has been in business for over 35 years filming and producing sporting events, graduations, dance recitals, weddings, corporate functions, conventions, and other events. We are primarily hiring for camera operators and production assistants during our busy season of graduations, dance recitals, baseball, and football showcases. A camera operator has a steady hand and quick reflexes. We want you to be comfortable around expensive and delicate equipment as well as able to concentrate and attend to detail.
We are located in the Mansfield/DFW area, but have jobs all over Texas.
There are various duties including Camera Operator, Gaffing, Lighting, Sound, and Editing Projects. (On the Job Training)
Responsibilities
• Select, assemble, and position equipment (cameras, stands, software etc.)
• Prepare cameras and test angles or camera movements
• Capture quality footage from a fixed or moving position
• Resolve technical or practical issues
• Edit footage as needed
Skills
• Proven experience as camera operator
• Experience operating relevant equipment (cameras, cranes etc.)
• Excellent theoretical knowledge of filming and capturing footage
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to think and act quickly
• A team player
• Attention to detail
• Physical strength to carry heavy equipment and stamina
• High school diploma; degree in film, media or relevant field is a plus
