The Dusty & Dott Show LIVE is coming to Redhouse Arts Center! Thanks to the incredible support of RedEd, this girl ‘n’ dog duo (seen on PBS!) is hitting the stage for a FREE event, and YOU’RE invited to join the pack! 🐾

Dott (like the polkadot) and her trusty dog Dusty (like the dust) are on a mission to celebrate what humans (and talking dogs?) do best: telling stories! Together, we’ll become storyMAKERS, mastering Dott’s five storytelling FUNdamentals:

It’s here! The first short from "Dusty & Dott's Day Out" at the Matilda Joslyn Gage Center is now live on YouTube! In this episode, we dive into Dusty’s big question: ‘What is a vote?’

This series of shorts is designed as a conversation starter for classrooms (and kitchen tables!), helping kids explore important concepts through Dusty's curious and playful perspective. With Dusty & Dott, we hope to make complex ideas easier to understand, showing the power of play-based learning in action!

Dusty & Dott have a new community collaborator—the Matilda Joslyn Gage Center!

Do you know who Matilda Joslyn Gage is? Matilda was a real-life superhero who believed in fairness and equal rights! She lived over 100 years ago and worked really hard to make sure that women had the right to vote and have their voices heard. Matilda also believed in freedom for everyone and stood up for people who weren’t treated fairly. She wanted to make the world a better place, and her ideas still inspire people today!

Over the next month, Dusty & Dott will be working with the center to create age-appropriate videos that focus on voting rights and shine a light on the powerful woman who lived right in their hometown. Stay tuned for empowering stories and important lessons!

This Performance Studio is designed for voices and creators of any age. Studying the Performing Arts is a pathway to emotional expression, increased self-worth, empathy, belonging, and cultural understanding. The arts can help to future proof our next generation and encourage inclusive thinking.

At The Storytellers Studio, our passion is to champion creative energy and empower the amazing performers in our community. We’re currently accepting students!

🐾 💛 Happy National Dog Day to our beloved Dusty, the ultimate student of life! He’s eager to learn new tricks and make new discoveries! But Dusty never learns alone.. He’s got his little brother Alvin with him! Like other dogs, he’s a loyal companion with a huge heart and an unwavering devotion to cheese. 🧀 We love you, Dusty!

We’re thrilled to announce our newest Community Collaborator: FUNKY FOODIES INC.! 🎉

Meet the Funky Foodies:
🍔 Frankie: A non-binary science nerd with two dads, an annoying 6-year-old brother, and a pet turtle named Shelly.
🎨 Fern: An artsy redhead who plays the trombone, with a mom named Glow, a beehive-wearing waitress at the Greasy Spoon diner.
🛹 Zara: An eco-conscious skateboarder who visits Mooretown from the City and spends time with her Auntie A.

Together, they share their love for food and environmental concerns, pledging to “Save the Planet, One Veggie Burger at a Time.” 🌱🍔
