SNOWMOBILE CRASH
Vernon Center Fire Department was dispatched to a snowmobile incident on the Blue Earth River in rural Vernon Center involving a 21-year-old male who had crashed into a tree. The responders initially struggled to locate the individual, who was found unconscious for an unspecified period around 4:17 PM. Lake Crystal Ambulance advised to page air transport due to the patient's unconscious state. North air landed at the scene around 4:42 PM and took off for MCHS at 5:05 PM. At the time of departure, the male was conscious, alert, and showed no apparent injuries.
Responding agencies included Vernon Center Fire, Lake Crystal Ambulance, Blue Earth County Sheriff's Department and North Memorial Air.
