THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE, DURING, AND AFTER VOTING ON MAY 9
Before the day of the election:
1. Can bring cheat sheet/kodigo/sample ballot.
BAWAL yung sample ballot na may campaign material tulad ng logo o kahit anong may kinalaman sa pangangampanya.
2. Alamin kung saan ang precinct nila.
May mga options sila: (1) I-check ang COMELEC Precinct Finder website; (2) Pumunta mismo sa Local COMELEC Office
TANDAAN kapag wala yung pangalan sa COMELEC Precinct Finder, pwede silang magpunta sa local COMELEC office.
Para sa mga hindi first-time voters, ang maaaring maging dahilan kung bakit wala ang pangalan nila ay:
Deactivated na sila dahil hindi sila bumoto noong nakaraang halalan (barangay at 2019 elections)

3. Magdala ng mga essential items na kakailanganin tulad ng facemask, alcohol, vax card…

4. BAWAL magsuot ng campaign paraphernalia kahit gaano kaliit ito.
NOTE: Pwedeng magsuot ng kulay p**a o pink na plain pero may instances na baka harangin din sila.
Process on election day itself:
1. Go early to the voting site.
NOTE: Voting precinct opens at 6AM.
2. Get your temperature check.
TANDAAN: Kung magpa-positive ka sa araw ng eleksyon, PWEDE KA PA RIN BUMOTO KAHIT MAY SAKIT O COVID POSITIVE KA.
May inilaan ang COMELEC na isolation polling places o IPP para doon bumoto.
3. Sa voter assistance desk mo makukuha ang room at que number mo. Hindi sabay-sabay bumoto sa loob.
REMINDER: Para mas sigurado, bring valid ID to verify your identity kapag nasa Voter Assistance Desk ka.
4. Get the ballot and inspect the ballot for markings, pre-shadings and any irregularities.
TANDAAN: Kapag may nakitang mali, kahit gaano kaliit ito, insist to include it in the minutes.
5. For the Vote Counting Machine (VCM) to read the voter’s vote, the shade must be at 50% o dapat kalahati man lang ng ballot mo ay may shade.
REMIND voters to shade the left portion of the name in the ballot.
6. BAWAL magpicture o magvideo kapag bumoboto.
7. Feed the ballot in the VCMs; they are allowed to insert the ballot 4x. Kapag hindi pa rin nabasa ng VCM ang ballot, dapat iparecord ito sa minutes of the election.
TANDAAN pwede ka pa rin humingi ng panigabong balota as long as hindi ikaw ang may mali kaya hindi mabasa ang ballot mo.
8. See the receipt to verify kung ano yung nabasa ng VCM. I-double check mo ang resibo kung tama ang boto mo.
9. Insert it sa slot o sa drop box para sa mga ballot receipts.
10. Present your finger for the watermark.

Kung sakali mang dalawa ang na-shade mong ballot number, they always advise voters to shade at least three o lahat na ng section kung saan ka nagkamali para siguradong hindi mabasa ng machine ang boto.
