Our life lately..

In our business: We are editing our summer weddings and preparing for all the fall days ahead! We have taken on less weddings this year than ever before which feels refreshing in our new season of life. It took some time, but I finally feel settled into a new editing schedule as a work-from-home mama.

As new parents: We adore this season. Every day with Caden is such a gift. I think every day Jensen and I look at each other and say “he’s just the best.” I was NOT prepared to cry during every mother-son dance we film this year. So if you see me tearing up… you didn’t. 👀😭

Caden: Our baby boy is almost 9 months old, always on the move and always chatting it up. He is so curious, very determined and we love watching his mind work. His favorite thing lately has been walking along furniture and trying to take those independent steps.

We are continually grateful for our business and its ability to adapt with us as our life changes through the years.

Two weeks ago, on January 2, 2023 we welcomed Caden Blake Lucas into our lives. We have truly soaked up these first two weeks with him. Our hearts have never been fuller and we just love watching him grow each and every day. He’s the sweetest and already makes us laugh. We are so in love.

Our 2022 season of filming has come to a close! What an incredible year of weddings!! We are just about a month out from our due date and so excited to meet our baby. We will be editing and sharing as many films as we can until baby makes his or her arrival and then taking some time to soak up those first weeks.

Filming weddings with Jensen is always special to me. Another reminder of the beauty of marriage, with moments where I’m overwhelmed with gratitude of the marriage we have. This season is extra special now as we’re preparing for our little one. I think wedding days will always bring me back to our wedding day and I’ll always be thankful for that. Such a foundation for our family.
