The Coaching Video department’s major objective is to provide video and statistical materials for the coaches and players. Items managed by the department help build strategies to support victory on the football field. Videotaping and editing practices and games is a daily and primary function of the department as well as weekly editing of opponent video. These materials are made available through
out the Vanier Complex on a sophisticated video network as well as distributed as content for remote viewing on Ipads. Other services provided by the department include video production and print services for the football program and audio/visual consultation for the athletics department. Weekly highlights and motivational videos, recruiting documentation and internal presentations and audio/visual components for both the West Stadium Center and the future new Vanier Complex are a few of the projects outside the scope of coaching video. The department has a total of 9 staff members which includes 6 student assistants, a graduate assistant, a full time Assistant Coordinator and a Director of Video Services. Much like many departments within K-State Athletics and the football program, the Coaching Video department relies on great assistance from the university. K-State students have a great passion for their athletics programs and the Coaching Video department could not function without their dedication.
