We extend our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of the late, great Max von Sydow, fascinating personality, actor non pareil, and star of ‘The Letters,’ the Mother Teresa biopic which was one of his last known screen performances. We’re honored and humbled to have had the good fortune of working with such a kind and formidable human being.

As you may know, the Blade Runner screenplay sets the film in Los Angeles around November 2019. We were privileged to work with the late, great Rutger Hauer who was featured in Ridley Scott's masterpiece in 1982. Rutger passed earlier this year.

Maxed Out! Yesterday was . We were busy planning and doing a networking event that also served as a farewell party to our awesome intern for the summer of 2019, Max. Today he is headed back to to finish his Communications Degree. We want to wish him nothing but the BEST. We hope you had a great summer and we can't wait to see what the future holds up for you. R.I.P. Rutger Hauer. In 1982 Hauer became well known for his amazing work as the villain, Roy Batty, in "Blade Runner." In 2014, Blue Room Post had the immense pleasure to work with him on the production of "The Letters." Starring Rutger Hauer and Max Von Sydow. We did ADR, pick-up shots, mix, finish, QC work. The film was produced by our very own John Harris and edited by Andras Ostrom. Rutger Hauer was a fantastic guy to work with and a great artist. He will be missed. Our deepest condolences go out to his family and friends.

Today's Is dedicated to our amazing Director of Audio

He is from Sweden and has been with us at for over 10 years. Back in 2017, he won an Emmy Award - Best Sound For Animated Feature - for the work he did as a Foley Mixer in "Lost In Oz". This is just one of the many recognitions he's had in his 25+ years in the business. He is also a Blues musician and plays keyboards for the Black Squirrel Band.

Fun Fact: He used to be a Prison Guard back home in Stockholm. What a great and talented guy, we are lucky to have him lead our ADR units at MBS Media Campus in Manhattan Beach and Raleigh Studios in Hollywood.
