I’m in denial that you are 1 next week. But you’re still 11 months and here are 11 things we are loving about you!
1. You learned how to clap this month! And love making sure everyone is clapping with you.
2. You fell even more in love with music at Camp-of-the-Woods this summer. You’d kick your feet, raise your hands, sing and clap during music time.
3. You love saying “by-eee!” and waving and also use it as your way to be done with something.
4. You learned how to do “poor baby” and put your head to one side when someone says it to you…just like your mommy use to do!
5. Carter taught you how to high-five.
6. Your favorite book with papa is Old McDonald. He says “e-i-e-i-o” and you say “doe-doe-doe”.
7. You are learning your animal sounds and can tell us what a dog, duck and cow say.
8. Your love for flowers continues but when you pick one you quickly try to fix it by putting it back.
9. Every morning you play with your morning basket and it’s so sweet watching you put items away in the basket when you are done playing with it.
10. We got you a baby stroller this month and you are such a little mommy by putting your baby in the seat and any other items under the stroller.
11. You adore nature and almost always have dirt under your nails…must be my daughter!

10 things we are loving about you!
1. You started crawling this month!
2. When you want to give us a kiss you grab us with both hands and it’s the sweetest!
3. Your new word is “na-na-na-noooo” for no.
4. You pull yourself up onto everything!
5. Your favorite food is definitely papa’s strawberries! You loved to take one bite out of each berry you could get your hands on.
6. We’ve spent so much time with water play: water table, mini pool, Goldie’s water bowl…
7. We started 1000 books before kindergarten at our local library with you!
8. Your favorite song is If You’re Happy and You Know it and you pat your legs as your way of clapping.
9. You adore dollys and have to take one with you everywhere!
10. You love flowers and always reach out to pick them. Your favorite is to find clover flowers in the grass or pull hydrangea petals off when you crawl by.

I love to get the boys involved in the kitchen and the table prep. And in this family snacks are always a must when prepping! We got our biggest storm of the season today! In March! We’ve been without power since 7:30AM and then the generator wouldn’t work.
