Genfan was a veteran studio architectural and acoustics designer with background both in engineering and music. Within his lifetime, Genfan had designed many of Texas' most renown recording and production spaces including the Orb Studios, the legendary Tequila Mockingbird studios and filmmaker Robert Rodriguez’s Troublemaker Studios among many others. At Evil Studio you have the option to track all instruments together in the main tracking room to get that nice live "dirty" sound or
we can also offer different recording spaces besides the main tracking room where amps can be recorded live separately from each other or the drums and separately from the vocals to get as much separation in sound as required. Service 4 - Mixing - Kfir Gov is a highly accomplished artist, sound engineer, mixer and music producer, who works with various artists from all around the globe, from Independents to Grammy Award Winning artists, in a wide variety of genres of music - Rock, EDM, Pop, Metal, Hip Hop, R'n'B, Industrial, Broadway Musicals, Country, Modern Jazz and more. Kfir is also the head instructor/mentor of "Advanced Music Production & Mixing" class at The Recording Conservatory of Austin. A great mix can at times make a song while a mediocre mix can hinder it. It is the Mixer's job to translate the recorded music to the listeners by dressing it up in contemporary sound at its clearest form and highest quality. While it is very important how the music sounds, at the same token, one must not forget that it is also very much about how the music feels - "Music is the language of emotions" - said the philosopher Immanuel Kant. A great Mixer would have the experience, knowledge and familiarity with what it is about each style of music that attracts its listeners.
