Youâve probably been taught you only have 5 senses. But what if there were actually 15 ways đyour being receives, processes, and responds to the world?
This guide introduces you to the full spectrum of your sensory system, five from the body, five from the soul, and five from the spirit......so you can live a more aligned, awakened, and joyful life.đŤ
Here we go!
1. BODY â Your Physical Senses
These are the classic five senses that help you navigate the physical world.
⢠Sight: Seeing color, light, shapes, like admiring a sunset or reading a book.
⢠Smell: Sensing aromasâlike fresh cookies or your favorite candle.
⢠Taste: Experiencing flavorsâlike a juicy peach or rich chocolate.
⢠Touch: Feeling textures and temperatures, like hugging someone or walking barefoot in grass.
⢠Hearing: Recognizing sound, like a friendâs laugh music or ocean waves.
2. SOUL â Your Inner Senses
These five guide your thoughts, feelings, and conscious decisions.
For each of these below, you can decide to be in alignment with what you prefer or our of alignment with what you prefer. âŹď¸
⢠Mind: Your awareness of thoughtsâlike solving a puzzle or reflecting on a conversation. OR, self sabotaging figuring the worst will happen and exactly how.
⢠Will: Your ability to chooseâlike deciding to take a walk instead of scrolling online. Your ability to talk yourself out of why the best act is not doable? Sound like you?
⢠Emotions: Feeling joy, sadness, excitement, or fearâlike butterflies before a big event. Or emotions of a past bad situation causing you to relive those events in the present. Sound like you? đ¤
⢠Imagination: Creating visions in your mindâlike dreaming up a business or a story. Or you can imagine the worst case scenario on a daily basis đ¤ is that you?
⢠Affection: Giving and receiving loveâlike feeling warmth when someone smiles at you.
3. SPIRIT â Your Higher Senses
These are transcendent senses that connect you to something greater than yourself. When you are inside this private corridor to your higher self you ask for help and it comes instantly. You are heard. GOD đŤ
⢠Prayer: Speaking or listening inwardly to God or the universeâlike in quiet reflection.đŤ
⢠Worship: Expressing reverenceâlike singing, dancing, or being in awe of nature. This is gratitude for everything nowđŤ
⢠Faith: Believing in what canât yet be seenâlike trusting the process in hard times.đŤ
⢠Discerning: Sensing truth or energyâlike getting a gut feeling about a person or place.đŤ
⢠Shame: Inner awareness of misalignmentâlike knowing when you acted outside your values. This is out of alignment in previous actions that cause this to occur. It's a very low vibe that will only keep you stuck.
Why Is This Important?
When you understand and develop all 15 senses, you live more fully.
You start noticing the emotional layers beneath your reactions, the spiritual meaning behind events, and the deeper joy in everyday life.
This isnât just self-awareness it's total alignment with the REAL YOU. The you that expresses God in your actions experiences creativity and thoughts.
⨠Action Step: Tune In Daily
Pick one sense from each category and journal how you used it today.
Example: Today I saw the clouds shift (Sight), felt grateful for a friend (Affection), and trusted that things will work out (Faith).
When you journal it's like a secret conversation with your best friend. Your higher self đŤ
