A new specialty show added to KMMT as of today. Produced by our very own DJ Bones, ‘The Outskirts’ is going to be a deep dive into music and how it makes us feel!!! You will not want to miss it! Some Good News! We have a new provider for our online stream, it has provided us with a much sleeker look and the ability to see what song is playing! And this is just the beginning. Once we get it all set up it will also give us podcast capabilities so you can listen to your favorite shows whenever you want and we will have a downloadable app for your phone or tablet soon, plus more interactive features! It’s been ages since we posted anything of substance here on Facebook, so I thought we could do a photo dump from 4th of July. We had a blast announcing the parade in Mammoth Lakes and airing the Soundtrack for the Fireworks at Crowley Lake. Thanks to Town of Mammoth Lakes, Crowley Lake Fish Camp, Mammoth Lakes Tourism (aka Visit Mammoth) and Mammoth Lakes Chamber of Commerce for all that you do! We handed out 500 stickers and some signed posters as well. Don’t be shy to show us where you put your stickers!!

Team KMMT/KRHV has been working incredibly hard over the last 3 months to update the running of the stations. From computer systems, to telephones, new website, all manner of procedure updates and training new staff etc. We are going to keep making improvements to ensure that we can serve the people of the Eastern Sierra in the best way possible. Showtime for ‘Josie B’s On the Road’ has been changed to 4-6pm on Sundays, or catch the rerun on Tuesdays from Noon-2pm.

A brand new music series is premiering on KMMT this Sunday. ‘Josie B’s On the Road’ is two hours of curated music made for your drive after a wonderful time spent in the mountains, Sundays from 3.30pm-5.30pm. Let music director Josie B provide you with a soundtrack from her journey to yours, mixing the hottest new indie music with some deep cuts and alternative tracks that never made it to our general rotation.
