✨ Meals for Hope: A Community Feeding Those in Need ✨
Since the Spring of 2020, the
Meals for Hope program at Community Unitarian Universalist Congregation at White Plains has been serving up over 40,000 meals to those struggling with hunger. What started as a response to the COVID-19 crisis has become a weekly mission of compassion, bringing together volunteers to prepare nutritious meals, PB&J sandwiches, and kids’ grab-and-go lunches for families in need.
From pasta and meat sauce to chicken pot pie, our meals are simple but packed with love. Watch the full story of how this program has made an impact in our community and see how we’re continuing to fight hunger, one meal at a time.
