Hanover College, Prince of Catholic Schools and Switzerland County HS schools are all canceled on Monday, Jan. 6, due to the winter storm.

Jefferson County has at least 4 inches of snow and some ice with more falling. Roads are slick and travel should limited to emergencies and necessities.

Trimble County resident called to say she left her iPhone in the car of a person who gave her a ride from HOS Coffee in Carrollton to the Marathon in Bedford at about 7 a.m. one morning about a week ago. She does not know the driver's name but thinks he lives in Trimble County and works at one of the industries in Carroll County. She thinks the car was dark colored. In an update to Friday’s storm postponements, Madison football versus Heritage Christian will now be at 5 PM on Saturday. Homecoming festivities will take place at halftime of the football game.

Carroll County schools have canceled classes today, Friday, September 27 due to the forecast for severe weather. The Panthers. Homecoming game has been postponed until 3 p.m. on Saturday. The Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned during halftime. Also, the Homecoming Dance has been delayed until 8 p.m. on Saturday.
