If anybody is wondering why there are so many fake accounts of certain creators on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, etc., I’m about to tell ya. It took me a long time to figure it out how, why, and who did this to me but when I finally did, it made me sick to my stomach. It shows just how sick these people really are and what extent they’ll go to gain popularity on social media while simultaneously sabotaging their “competition’s” algorithm to decrease views, engagement, revenue and so on. Through SEO’s (search engine optimizations) and hacked hashtags this group of people can tie my account name and my content with more extreme and fringe content so that my content is being shown to more of an extreme crowd than the people who would normally watch my content. That’s why my pawpaw videos get a third of the views that they used to receive while out of nowhere multiple new “southern pawpaw” characters sprung up and grew at a rapid pace. The process it takes for a group of haters to do this is well organized and thought out. This is how they did it to me. 1.) Started engaging with my content. 2.) formed a group of creators and pulled me into the mix so I became associated with them and their content. 3.) get their loyal followers/minions to start commenting keywords on my videos that would make the algorithm push me towards the more extreme side of the social media platforms. (Example: things like “I’m dying” “dead” etc). Most of these accounts that commented these words were accounts that followed extreme or fringe content so that the algorithm would associate my name with this kind of content. 4.) these same accounts would tag more extreme and fringe creators/pages/etc in my videos. On TikTok a lot of times these extreme creators would duet my videos to see to it that the algorithm pushed my content to the more extreme crowds. Then with all of the fake accounts with my name my face and my videos are engaging with the more extreme side of creators and content on all social media platforms. ESPECIALLY TikTok who is one of the worst about removing fake accounts from their platform. All the while these other “creators” who are in on the sabotage keep their accounts on the wholesome, blue collar, middle America, all smiles and sunny skies side of these social media platforms.
