Very sad to learn of the passing of Rick Amos this week. Rick was with my parents company Lake County Nursery Inc. for 20+/- years. He was very good to me, my parents and my Aunt Pat. Looking back he really taught me alot in the early years of my business career. He was one of the good guys, giving his all to his family, friends, clients and community. He will be missed.

Right on cue the Thanksgiving cactus, I gifted my mom 10+ years ago is starting to bloom. I cherish the fond holiday memories it invokes. It's like a little heavenly hello from her.
