The addition of solar panels on the roof of Neck River Elementary School would make it a zero-emissions facilities with significantly reduced utilities costs, according to the BOS

At its Sept. 22 meeting, the BOS were given the cost evaluation by Adam Levitus of Colliers Project Manager, the group who oversaw construction of the school. They were informed that most of $2,410,000 in returns comes from tax credit incentives as part of the federal Inflation Reduction Act (IRA).
