Yup! A study by scientists at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill found that practicing loving-kindness meditation might slow down aging.

During a six-week workshop, 142 middle-aged adults tried mindfulness meditation, loving-kindness meditation, or did nothing. The results? Those in the loving-kindness meditation group showed less telomere shortening, which is linked to aging.
