We've been dreaming of creating a local food guide for the Lynchburg, Virginia region (Lynchburg, Bedford, Amherst, Appomattox, Campbell County) ever since Land and Table was started over a decade ago. More details to come, but we have a goal of launching a basic website this fall. We're working with a website developer and are excited to finally make finding local food (grown, raised, and made) simple and easy. We hope you are as excited as we are. Mothers Day Plant Sale at Great Day Gardens!

Here’s a list of some of the plants we will have next Sunday at our annual Mothers Day Plant Sale! We have the healthiest, most beautiful starts we’ve ever grown, all grown from seed by us without synthetic chemicals or GMOs.

Our friends at Mountain Run Farm have their grass-fed, grass-finished, regeneratively raised beef available again! They were one of the first grass-only farms selling beef directly to the community since 2007 -and they are still at it today. They have been focusing on custom bulk beef for awhile but now you can exclusively get their beef cuts through The Farm Truck VA in partnership with Restoration Acres Farm. Don't miss this nutrient dense, locally raised meat!

We have focused on custom orders of our grass-fed, grass-only beef for several years now. It is the most cost-effective and economical way to purchase our meats. But sometimes you don’t want to buy large amounts of beef at once. Now after a long hiatus we’re excited to announce that we are finally bringing back beef cuts for retail sale!

Our grass-fed, grass-only retail beef cuts are available exclusively through The Farm Truck VA VA (mobile farm store) by our friends at Restoration Acres Farm who also share the land with us here at Mountain Run Farm.
