Been in my studio for two day writing again. Have a new tune for the first time since Dawn passed as I have a new muse. Having a blast, plus I had a guitar replaced for a factory defect the first one had. Took nearly a year.

Worked more on my desk today. Installing a pullout keyboard tray and then tomorrow I’m hanging some blackout curtain in my current space. All the work I’m doing is to help me mock up the equipment for the new larger space plus meanwhile maintaining a recording space. Pics to follow

Prepping to re-start new studio build. Best laid plains of mice and men has seen fit to keep me here for a while longer.

Absolutely stoked to have this mixing desk back from modding. All new caps and a few diodes and trim adjust on all channels. This is a 1994 Tascam Model 2600/32. A full tilt recording desk…no effects, no USB and no drop down menus, this is a full on analogue summing desk. A huge step up for my digital work station.
Thanks to Roger at Universal Audio Repair in Charlottesville for the quick turn around and quality work!

Gotta have a video conferencing style system for the new studio, running cat6e cabling for multiple camera shoot. Also pulling wire from the studio control room to my new drum booth in the basement. My house is going up in value simply from the amount of copper I’m adding!
Removed my picture window insert because I didn’t like how it mounted. Repairing that now. Next, the new front door to the studio.
