Ludlow Area Sports Trails featured in this story about local trail networks, which aired this morning on Vermont Public:

As Vermont focuses on the importance of supporting the outdoor economy, there is a call to figure out how to ensure the public retains access to trails on private land.

New show alert! The making of this video was a collaboration, much like the actual project itself. Cavendish was the pilot project for "Culvert Crawlers", a partnership between the Town, a team of community volunteers & organizers, and Dartmouth College...all in the name of flood resiliency & good stewardship. "Don't pitch in the ditch" a timely message as we head towards Green Up Day!

During the Summer of 2024, a year after devastating floods affected the local area, a team of volunteers worked with students from Dartmouth College, in part...

The "Average Daves" (as they're known on TV) were back in the studio today ...this time to talk cartoons. They're not REALLY all that "average". Know why? They both hold the important job of dispatchers for the Ludlow Police Department. As part of National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week, we want to extend our appreciation for their efforts...both in & out of the studio. Thanks, Daves!

Congrats to the students of the Audio-Video Production program at River Valley Tech Center... and to the program for "producing" yet another State championship. We are proud partners of this program and thankful for the talent that has come to us (including 3 of our current staff, who are all alumni, as well as our intern, who is a current student). It's quite the program they run over there. For any youngster looking to get into AV production / media / film as a potential career path, it's worth checking into this program!

Whether it's a version of what has been proposed by Gov. Scott's administration or in some other form, we can all expect there to be some transformational changes coming to public education in VT. On this week's Legislative Update, State Rep. Charlie Kimbell (Woodstock-Plymouth-Reading) breaks down a new bill coming out of the House Education Committee that looks at school funding & governance.

State Representative Charlie Kimbell (Woodstock-Plymouth-Reading) provides a summary of H.454, "an act relating to transforming Vermontโ€™s education governanc...

About Us

Okemo Valley TV began as "LPCTV" began in 2001 as a Public, Educational, Government ("PEG") Access television station. The name was derived from the first letters of the 3 Towns that the station served -Ludlow, Plymouth, and Cavendish. Since that time, the organization has grown and evolved, both in terms of our mission and our reach. From our humble beginnings in the former home economics room in the Ludlow Elementary School building, we have grown into a vibrant community media organization, running 2 24/7 cable TV channels, this website (which is chock full of local video), a community calendar, and providing a variety of media-related services including free trainings & workshops, technical support and equipment to community members, organizations, and the local schools. We are now located in the Ludlow Community Center complex at 37C Main St.
