The last day to pay a prior water bill to avoid interruption in service is Wednesday January 15, 2025 by 5pm. Payments can be made online through the City of Lucedale website: www.nexbillpay.net/lucedale/BillPay/SignIn We also offer over the phone payments by calling 1-844-562-1958. You will need your account number for either of these options. All payments (in office, online and phone) must be made before 5 pm CST on January 15th to avoid interruption in services.

UPDATE!! As of 9:00 am, 1-10-25, the Boil Water Notice has been lifted for the entire city! Thank you for your patience while the issue was resolved!
A city-wide precautionary boil water notice has been issued. All our City of Lucedale Water customers should have water restored to their homes or businesses at this time, the only exception is residents on Blanche Street--The water department is currently working diligently to restore services to this location.
Public notification will be given when the boil water notice or order is lifted. How long will depend on how long it takes for laboratory results to confirm it is safe to return to normal water use. The City of Lucedale will provide updates as soon as they are made available.

BREAKING- Sugar Bowl Postponed

Multiple sources are reporting that the Super Bowl game between the University of Georgia and Notre Dame, and scheduled for this evening, has been postponed until tomorrow.

The New Orleans Super Dome is now under lockdown after what is being called a “terror attack” shortly after three a.m. this morning. At least ten were killed, and dozens more injured when a pickup truck plowed into crowd on Bourbon Street. At least one student from the University of Georgia is in critical condition.

The FBI has identified the dead suspect as a 42-year-old Houston man. There are reports that officials are also investigating whether other individuals may be involved in the attack. Officials say when they searched his pickup truck they found a high-powered rifle, a pistol and an ISIS flag.

In observance of the New Year Holiday, All Municipal Offices including the Lucedale Transfer Station will be closed on Wednesday, January 1, 2025.

All offices will resume normal business hours on Thursday, January 2, 2025. The Lucedale Transfer Station will reopen on Saturday, January 4, 2025.

Due to the Holiday, the garbage truck will run on Saturday January 4th and cardboard will be picked up on Thursday January 2nd
