Coming to Lucas TODAY! Take advantage of the fun! They will be parked downtown by Bowl Plaza. The City of Lucas has provided inflatables for the kids and is collaborating with the Lucas Public Library with a Sidewalk Chalk Contest with prizes. The Lucas Rural Fire Department will be giving away hot dogs, and Happy Trails Brew Co. will be giving away cool drinks to the first 100 people!

I find it sad that the article that Lori Brack wrote for the Kansas Reflector on Lucas Publishing Company/Lucas-Sylvan News was pulled from Facebook and all that shared the article received a notice that it was spreading malware or such! It seems that ALL the articles that the Kansas Reflector has posted have had them pulled by Facebook. It amazes me that this article (on my business) will get flagged/tagged, and I will see people post half-naked humans and presidents getting decapitated, and that's all right. So sick of political agendas. I do thank every one of you who shared that story about Lucas Publishing Company/Lucas-Sylvan News. I will still stand firm that if we lose the printed word, we lose so much more than a newspaper!

FedEx has documented that they delivered my package at 9:23 a.m. this morning. I checked their proof-of-delivery; it is a PDF of the same information. No picture proof...nothing. If you have my package, I need it. All it is is labels to mail the newspaper out. Please let me know. I won't be upset. Thank you!
