This week we had Jordan Robert Kirk! Jordan hails from Crosby County where he is a full time farmer. When he’s not stripping cotton or bailing hay, Jordan is writing songs and performing all across West Texas. Jordan and his full band tomorrow night 9/21 at The Coyote Store in Gail Tx. Joy is a Lubbock native who is a true craftsman in many forms of the word. One of the sweetest souls I’ve met in a long time. This summer Rhythm and Roots took a trip to Austin during SXSW and we sat down with the West Texas Exiles! The Exiles are all West Texas boys that now call Austin home. Check out this interview to find out more about this very talented group who is definitely on their way to VERY BIG THINGS!

I also want to give a shout out to Robert Rogers and Art Canyon. The West Texas Exiles put on one hell of a show last night at the Canyon! Thank you Art Canyon for bringing the Exiles to town.
