The school year is in the books, and we are proud to announce that we surpassed our previous school year broadcast total by 20! CRSN could not be possible without the hard-working students who make this program so special. This is the best program in the LSC!

A message from student station manager Brennan Riker:
Yesterday marked the end of another chapter for Chap Radio and CRSN. As I reflect back on this past school year, one word keeps popping into my mind, and that word is "gratitude." So much gratitude goes to the many folks who support our students and what we do at LCU.

I want to thank Dr. Shawn Hughes, who started Chap Radio and gave me a chance my freshman year. He may not be at LCU anymore, but he left an impact on not only me, but every student he taught during his time at LCU. I cannot thank him enough for being a great mentor and a friend.

I also want to thank four guys who have graduated from LCU this past school year: Nathan Karseno, Nick Teague, Landon Parish, and Kaden Marshall. Without these four great individuals and their talent and leadership, Chap Radio could not be where it is today without them. I also want to thank every student who was involved with Chap Radio this year, whether it be as a host, a broadcaster, or a producer. It was a blessing to see another year with high student involvement and to see students excel in their pursuits with Chap Radio.

Thank you to the great staff and people of Lubbock Christian University, especially Melanie Grellhesl and the Mass Media department. So many people pour a lot into our students at LCU and Chap Radio, and so much of what we do could not be done without their support and guidance. A shoutout goes to Raymond Richardson and Lisa Fraze with University Advancement who are big supporters of CRSN and poured a lot time into ensuring that the program can be the best in can be. Their help in enhancing the program cannot be understated.

Alongside the great people at LCU are the folks at LCU Athletics. Former AD Scott Larson and current AD Andrew Sorrells are great partners and friends to Chap Radio and were and are instrumental in involving our radio students in athletic broadcast operations. Others with Athletics that are also great friends and mentors to myself and our students are Alek Child, Hunter Lively, and Chris Due. These guys work tirelessly with us to provide assistance for our broadcasts and allow our students to gain valuable experience behind the mic. A big thank you to the coaches of each athletic program who help us as we strive to support and showcase their talented teams and athletes. There are so many kind and grateful coaches at LCU that have been so great us, and their generosity should not go unnoticed.

Finally, thank you to the fans and the LCU community for listening all year long. We do what we do for them, the athletes and their families, and we appreciate everyone's support as we relentlessly pursue the goal of representing LCU and LCU Athletics in the best manner possible.

As I am set to graduate in December, I don't exactly know what the future beholds for Chap Radio, but I know there are a countless number of people at LCU who’ll go above and beyond to continue supporting the program so it can remain a tool for a great educational experience. Thank you LCU for everything you have done for me, and I can't wait to see what the upcoming school year beholds for Chap Radio and the wonderful students at LCU. The best is yet to come. South Central Regional Tournament Update: Out in Grand Junction, (6) Angelo State beats (2) Colorado Mesa to eliminate the Mavericks. ASU will play West Texas A&M tomorrow at 3 pm. ASU must win one over WT to advance to the Super Regional, while WT must beat ASU twice to advance.
