A big congratulations Healthy Horse Award winner, Quinn 33 ridden by Rupert Carl Winkelmann at last weekend’s ESP Spring week 2 at Wellington International. The pair were the winners of the $5000 Omega Alpha 1.35m classic on the Derby Annex, and here we have our very own star, Olivia Lockton of JRPR presenting their award.

📣 SALVINO TO BE RETIRED FROM COMPETITION! 📣

The tough decision was made this week by Owner Betsy Juliano and rider Adrienne Lyle, in respects to what is best for Salvino's long term interests.

The 17-year-old Hanoverian stallion Salvino (Sandro Hit x Donnerhall) has had an incredible career, from being members of the silver-medal winning U.S. team at the Tokyo Olympic Games as well as the silver medal team at the 2018 FEI World Equestrian Games, being name USEF International Horse of the Year in tandem with Lyle bing named USEF International Rider of the Year, and most recently finishing 6th overall for the US as members of the 2022 World Championship team.

Salvino will still be ridden at home, showing the other horses how it's done, and owner Betsy Juliano is very proud to be able to offer Salvino for breeding. Thank you Salvino for your exceptional contributions to the world of dressage!
