Here is another point of view from Wednesday night’s storm that blasted through the Boonville-Oneida County Fair.
Although it’s not included with this clip, several fairgoers and officials are talking about a lightning strike that occurred during the storm. There is no official confirmation yet of a lightning bolt that struck somewhere on the grounds, but officials from the fair office said if it didn’t hit the grounds, it was “mighty close.”
In terms of wind damage, the fair office says a few easy-up tents were tossed around, but no other major damage or injuries have been reported as of Thursday morning.
The fair is scheduled to go on today as usual! For a complete list of events, visit the fair brochure: https://flackbroadcasting.com/news/brochure-for-136th-annual-boonville-oneida-county-fair
