**UPDATE as of 3:15pm State Route 26 has been RE OPENED**

The Sheriff has NOT issued a travel advisory as of yet, however motorist should be aware that there are white out conditions in some parts of the county due to high winds and blowing snow. We have had multiple accidents today on State Route 26 in the Town of Martinsburg (between the village of Martinsburg and Demko farms). Extra caution should be taken when traveling as conditions may change quickly.
**As of right now, State Route 26 Town of Martinsburg between the Lee Rd & Glendale Rd temporarily CLOSED for a multi-vehicle crash and it should be re-opened shortly once vehicles are cleared from the roadway**

Snowmobiling 2025 marches on across upstate New York and the North Country.

We have arrived to the second weekend of February and the snowmobiling conditions so far this season have been second to none.

The snowpack remains very healthy across the Central and Northern New York regions. Not much has changed for the worst.

It looks like the trails will remain in good shape and groomers are expected to be busy amidst increased sled traffic.
