Join us tomorrow in Downtown Lowell for family-friendly festivities part of Lowell City of Lights. The Holly Jolly Trolley will be operating from 12-3 p.m. between the Boott Cotton Mills Museum and Visitor Center. Come down to the Visitor Center for a seasonal story time with our friends at 12 noon and be sure to say hi to the Park Rangers in the parade that kicks off at 4:30 p.m.!

Comic and manga creators, take a look at this

In partnership with the drawing software Clip Studio Paint, this competition involves producing an 8 to 16 page one-shot on the theme of "Legend". Each project will be judged by readers and then by the panel of judges, who will select 3 finalists.

One of my favorite actors has passed away. From The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie to Harry Potter to Downton Abbey, she was always herself in the role.

Maggie Smith, who won an Oscar for 1969 film “The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie” and won new fans in the 21st century as the dowager Countess of Grantham in “Downton Abbey” and Professor Minerva McGonagall in the Harry Potter films, has died at 89.

My cousin Bill died in Hurricane Michael in 2018.

It took the same path as Hurricane Helene is on.

I had a really good time at TERRIFICON CT's #1 Comic Con at Mohegan Sun. It is a really well run privately owned convention. Not like any of the Comic Cons or Expos that are run by corporations that just want the money. You could tell that a real fan runs this thing. I caught a couple funny photos to share.
