REMINDER: Get ready for the 2024 Backpack Distribution Program through River Outreach Ministries. This program, offered during the second week of August, allows families to select backpacks and receive school supplies tailored to their student's school and grade. Registration is open from June 1 to July 31, 2024. Families must live in the Lowell Area School District and meet the income requirement of 300% of the federal poverty level or less, or have an expressed need. Hello MLE families! Our Mileage Club is just a couple of weeks away and we are in need of parents to help monitor the kids during their recess time while they participate. There are two different recesses that we will need volunteers for. During mileage club, you'll watch the kids walk/run laps around the playground and then hand out bracelets for each lap. The kids can then turn their bracelets in for prizes! It's a great way to help the kids be active while they set lap goals for themselves. We hope to see you out there!
