Today is the day! 🎉 The Festival of Lights kicks off tonight from 5–8 PM in Downtown Loveland, and you won’t want to miss it!

Here’s what’s in store:
• 🍔 Food trucks serving up delicious bites
• ☕ Hot chocolate and 🍫 s’mores provided by Meals on Wheels
• 🎨 Art activities and family fun
• 🐴 Carriage rides and 🦌 real reindeer
• 🎶 Community performances and a DJ at the Art and Music Stage
• 🎄 The first annual Floats on Fourth parade extending from Lincoln to Washington
• 🎤 Special guest Scrooge will be announcing from the main stage
• 🎅 Meet Santa and Mrs. Claus and snap a picture with them! You can even print your photos at the Xfinity booth

✨ Don’t miss the tree lighting ceremony at 7:30 PM, complete with a Cheer-O-Meter created by CreatorSpace to make it extra special!

Plus, several downtown businesses are offering amazing specials throughout the evening, so be sure to stop in and support local.

🎥 And don’t forget—after the event, head over to the Rialto Theater to catch a screening of Gremlins!

We were proud to produce this video project for this important organization, Big Thompson Watershed Coalition. Such a joy to work with clients doing great work in our region impacting lives -- and in this case, human as well as the forests with beautiful creatures great and small.

Always a joy to be one of the hosts and support local artists - Greybird Designs LLC and FairyCraft are at our place. Come by this weekend to see some beautiful work and quite possibly get some practical gifts for yourself or others. The holidays are coming, you know!

We’re excited for two announcements about the film project I shared in the previous post, “When Angels Fear.” 1) It was nominated for best U.S. Feature at the SOHO International Festival. And, 2) it’s showing September 28 – October 8 in the Catalina Film Festival-Online Festival. It’s available for anyone to see online for $12. Oct. 8 is the last day.

Got some exciting news to share … we, Shadow Play Films, were the production team as well as the editing for the film, “When Angels Fear,” which was accepted and will be shown in NYC at the SOHO International Film Festival THIS FRIDAY evening, Sept. 15! What a fun group of talented people to work with on this film and to celebrate with!

Getting the opportunity to meet so many amazing heroes and survivors of those directly impacted on 9/11/2001 and share their stories is among our most memorable of projects. What a legacy they have and a day that will never be forgotten. They left a great impression on David and I. Such an honor and privilege of being the production team for these documentaries 17 years ago.
