Hey Weight Loss Besties,

I wanted to address something that's come up recently. I’ve received some negative feedback about my choice to get Lap Band surgery, with a few folks saying I’m taking the easy way out and should just focus on working out. While I’ve worked out as much as I could, dealing with two meniscectomies and now pending back surgery means I had to make the best choice for my health. It’s disheartening when people make assumptions about someone’s journey without knowing the full story.

For the record, I was kicking butt in the gym—and my home workout buddy couldn’t keep up! 😄 I’m excited to keep pushing forward and get to the best version of myself in 2024. Thank you to all who encourage and support me. You’re truly appreciated!

Let’s keep lifting each other up and celebrating our journeys, no matter how we get there. 💪✨
