It's with a heavy heart that I am no longer running Bored Satellite now or in the foreseeable future. This is a decision that has weighed on me for the better part of a year but felt like it was only fair to everyone here to put it out of its misery.  From losing several close friends and my father a few weeks ago, coupled with many financial strains and account hacks, my heart just wasn't in it, no matter how much I love creating music and supporting other artists.

Again I am super sad and sorry to even type this but I felt it was for the best. In closing I truly hope we ALL continue to create art and celebrate each other along the way.

We are back on track for the 2nd label compilation for October 31st. Yes, Halloween. Why? Because this release has been haunted by setbacks and plain bad luck.

Thanks to all the contributing artists for their patience and understanding. Look forward to sharing your music with the world.

Even though I am absolutely gutted about the compilation issues, we have the new joint from out today. The track "Round My Head" has been on repeat all morning. Go peep it on streaming platforms.

Everyone. Please accept my humble apologies as this release was corrupted by distribution. Unfortunately it will need to be pulled and reissued at a later date, likely through another distribution company as this one has had other issues in the past but this is unacceptable.

The other issue is the corrupted version will be up for a bit until it can be pulled down. 12:01am was too long to be out there imo.

Again, sorry this happened and it's quite a blemish I wish I could simply wipe away.

Will update as soon as we know more.

Wendy Ramirez a/k/a The Hype Pandandy is a Tucson, AZ born and raised EDM artist/producer/DJ/performance artist. The Hype Pandandy, while electronic in nature doesn't conform to any one genre rather is influenced by many: shoegaze, psytrance, lo-fi, industrial, vaporwave, psychedelic, synthwave, indie, chill vibes, trip hop and the underground sound. If there is a box, the Hype Pandandy is no where near it.

Contemporary Bookbinding is the solo project of London born, Manchester based multi-instrumentalist Rob Branch. Written, recorded and produced in his bedroom, the project is influenced by artists such as The Cure, Flatsound and Teen Su***de. Keep an eye out for his next EP coming in August.

Bored Satellite Records is proud to announce the follow up to our 2021 compilation which introduced you to several label artists as well as good friends and great electronic artists from around the world.

On August 4th we look to do the same with a host of familiar names and several new ones. Over the next few weeks we will introduce you to each artist as we build up to its release in August.

Thanks to everyone for your patience as we originally intended to release this much sooner but I wanted to ensure this was as captivating and entertaining as the first. We are there!

Back in the early 00's, two electro heads came together and produced what can best be described as a short love letter to all things early techno. Breakbeats poured over stabby synths sprinkled with samples from long forgotten sci-fi films. Dig into this two track from Parabola today on all streaming platforms.
