4 things all coaches can do when coaching pitchers:

1. Create Common Language - increases communication.

2. Find Little Successes - increases confidence.

3. Create Competition - increases belief.

4. Find Ways to Measure - increases drive.

EACH of these things are so important for not only the physical growth of a pitcher, but her mental strength.

These are just 4...there are so many more!

Being a pitching coach is not just about knowing mechanics!

It's about knowing how to get through to a girl by holding yourself and her to high standards.

It's about guiding a girl to clearly see how powerful she is and how she can do anything.

It's inevitable, playing careers are finite.

Being able to have tough conversations and work towards understanding how to work through challenges may be the most valuable lesson my kids learned throughout their playing careers.
