Our LA Fire Relief Fundraiser at our pop-up, Sound & Vision was a beautiful gathering of music, community, and generosity. Together, we shared songs, stories, and—most importantly—raised over $26,000 to support fire victims.⁠
⁠
A huge thank you to In Sheeps Clothing hi-fi all the artists, volunteers, and everyone who showed up and donated. ⁠
⁠
We’re now carefully assessing how to distribute these funds most effectively, prioritizing direct aid to impacted families in our community while also laying the groundwork for future support within Altadena’s extended music scene. Stay tuned for updates, and thank you for making this possible 💛

We are proud to announce that 'Luminaries of Light and Space,' presented by dublab and the LAX Art Program, curated by Laura Whitcomb and directed by Eli Welbourne has been featured in , a leading voice in the art world.⁠
⁠
This landmark installation inaugurates LAX’s new international West Gates tunnel in the Tom Bradley International Terminal. Conceived as an altar to geometric forms, the installation transcends cultural boundaries and features works by Robert Irwin, De Wain Valentine, Hap Tivey, Fred Eversley, Peter Alexander, Larry Bell, Helen Pashgian, and Gisela Colón. This project celebrates Southern California's renowned homegrown art movement, showcasing key pioneers who explore the phenomenon of light and color through minimal forms.⁠

Many of these artists have connections to the aerospace industry, with their sculptural materials originating from Southern California's space age innovations. One notable sculpture crafted by in sustainable carbon fiber represents new modalities of this exploration.⁠

The Armenian Center in Pasadena (Jivalagian Center) has an abundance of resources and is near the Eaton Fire - Altadena area. They’re looking to put their donations and resources to good use! Call them at (626) 486-2577.

The Pasadena Job Center at 500 N. Lake Ave. in Pasadena is serving as an Emergency Center for the day laborer community. They’re providing temporary shelter, food, water, and emergency kits—and are in need of volunteers!

Funkmosphere started as a tucked-away party in an intimate, low-key Culver City bar back in 2006, but its influence has been anything but small. Led by Dam-Funk, the crew has been spinning a mix of boogie, disco, roller jams, and every flavor of funk you can imagine. Now regarded as a cultural institution, Funkmosphere is often celebrated as the world headquarters of modern funk. ⁠
