Lights in the skies?

It was a cold February night when I took this picture. It’s the new bridge on 6th street in Downtown Los Angeles. And I was taking a walk with my wife and a friend on this now famous bridge (for good and not so good reasons) I realized two things:

The first is that I wasn’t paying attention to the beautiful night that was manifesting in front of me with the full moon and some clouds lingering around her. I snapped a couple of pictures, but this one is the one that resonated with me the most. And yes, those little lights that look like stars are flare from the lights of the cars passing by.

The second thing I realized is that the bridge wasn’t completely lit that night. If you notice, Some of the arcs are bright but some others aren’t. That was brought to our attention by our friend who said that the bridge is supposed to be illuminated from all angles and arcs. Not sure if it was an electrical problem or was done on purpose.

Either way, It was a really nice experience walking around there and surely, as of today, I would recommend coming here if you happen to be nearby the area.

Drops that became rain and hail. Let me give you some context:

We had a pretty rainy season here in Los Angeles and California in general. Mostly snow in the north of the state and the Sierra Nevada. And generally that’s how the season goes. Especially in LA, the average amount of waterfall for the year we had this year accumulated in just one week.

Someone who was born and raised in south California is not to thrilled about wet weather in general, but personally I loved the rain, as I come from a country where it rains a lot. The rain gives me peace, relaxation and happiness.

So every time it rains here, which is almost neverI would enjoy it the best way possible. Also my wife loves the rain too. And as the seasons end and we approach the summer fast, I am wishing that the cloudy and rainy weather doesn’t go.

So the hail fell eventually, I didn’t see it when it happens but that’s the evidence in wife’s hand when we got home and the last photo was on our way home where it fell the most.

Hope that makes sense for all the rain lovers out there.

Dive into a world of flavor at La Taqueria Tijuana– my absolute go-to spot for an epic taco experience in downtown San Diego! 🤤🌮 From the first bite to the last, every mouthful is a journey through a symphony of tastes that leaves me craving for more.

🔥 Sizzle in Every Bite: The tacos here are a masterpiece of culinary magic, with perfectly seasoned meats, fresh veggies, and that oh-so-crunchy shell that adds an extra layer of joy to every bite. This is a real Tijuana style taco!
