In between hurricane evacuation orders the wonderful folks at the Tampa Bay International Film Festival put on a festival to celebrate cinema. As Pride Month comes to a close, we’re excited to spotlight an incredible advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, Scott Luikart. 🏳️‍🌈✨

Scott is a 9x certified, 2x Salesforce MVP with over 10 years of experience using Salesforce to solve complex business challenges and give back to the community. Beyond his professional achievements, Scott dedicates his time to volunteering and supporting LGBTQ+ causes.

Last year, we had the honor of recognizing Scott for his impactful work with LGBT+ homeless youth at Montrose Grace Place in Houston, Texas. As we celebrate Pride, both today and year-round, it’s essential to provide safe spaces and community for our q***r youth. Scott beautifully expressed this, saying: “I can be in community with people as a visible q***r person and I want other people to see that they can be a q***r person in that same space and they know they are cared about.” You can visit our website using the link in our bio to find out more on this project!

Happy Earth Day! Pre-planning on shoots is vital for sustainability. These transportable trash cans might not be ‘insta-glam’ but they are a crucial part of our commitment to green shooting. On this shoot in Florida we recycled 7.5lbs of trash and composted 60.7lbs - as well as collecting additional litter we found in the mangroves we were filming. No plastic water bottles were used - only aluminium bottles and compostable cups. All food containers and cutlery was fully compostable. And car pools were arranged to limit ground transportation.

Happy last days of Women’s History Month! Sound Off Films is led by women and here for everyone - so every day we get to celebrate working with an incredible female team, both in the ‘office’ and as part of our creative roster. Meet the talented women we are proud to have steering our core team!

Vivian Le, Production Operations Management, and Midori Takata, Accounts & Operations, are the backbone of our company and vital in making sure that all of our projects run smoothly. Sophie Morgan, leads our entertainment development and is an award-winning factual producer, who has developed shows for major networks. Korri Palmer, Associate Production Coordinator, joined us in January bringing her diverse skillset to support both production and development creative. And of course Adrienne Hall, CEO, is our fearless leader that co-founded Sound Off in 2014 in response to underrepresentation of women and other minority voices in documentary and branded content. We are all passionate about mission-driven content and passing the mic (and camera!) so that stories are told from within communities.

This image of Bianca at this important spot is breath-taking. There is an exponential relationship between the height of the wave and the amount of energy that waves have, so we can’t even imagine how wild this ride felt!

We are a little late to this weekend’s most important party (sorry Tayvis), but we stan for all womxn in STEM and would love to highlight the amazing scientists featured in our award-winning mangrove restoration campaign for with - follow their great work!
lolaf is a forest and coastal ecologist, remote sensing scientist, science communicator and current explorer. She is a research scientist at NASA who studies flooded forests, (often from space!) including mangroves and peatlands in West Africa, with the aim of highlighting the importance of often overlooked and understudied ecosystems.

is a Bukidnon-born Marine Biologist turned Conservationist who specializes in blue-carbon and community-led mangrove conservation and education projects around the Philippines. She is a 2022 explorer and co-founder and director of environmental NGO
