Dave Collins masters a wide range of music, but he is best known for mastering rock albums and movie soundtracks. He has worked with many high-profile artists such as Alice in Chains, Metallica, Soundgarden, Weezer, Grateful Dead, Madonna, Linkin Park,The Police, P***o for Pyros, OingoBoingo, Alice Cooper, KMFDM, Sepultura, Puscifier, Chris Cornell, Bon Jovi, Madonna, Buckcherry, Monster Magnet, Sting, Flogging Molly, Bad Religion, Black Sabbath, Blue Oyster Cult, Chevelle, and Bruce Springsteen.
Collins is also known for his work on film score soundtracks such as Harry Potter: Fantastic Beasts, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, Passengers, Jurassic Park, ET, Edward Scissorhands, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Schlinder’s List, Braveheart, and Indiana Jones.
Dave Collins Mastering Studios were truly built “From the Sound Up” in consultation with Thomas Jouanjean of Northward Acoustics in Brussels, Belgium. The studio was specifically designed to provide an impressive, yet highly accurate, listening environment that is key to improving the quality of your sound.
Of particular note is the all-custom signal path that Dave has designed. From equalization, to analog to digital conversion, to dynamics, all equipment has been custom-built specifically for mastering - these proprietary designs are the result of decades of listening experience and evaluations, with proven results.
