JOKE OF THE DAY: A woman at the Post Office handled mail with illegible addresses. One day, she found a letter to God with no address and decided to open it. It read:
"Dear God,
I'm an 85-year-old widow living on a small pension. Someone stole my purse with $120, all I had until my next check. Next Sunday is Christmas, and I invited my friends for dinner. Without that money, I can't buy food. You're my only hope. Please help me.
Sincerely, Martha."
Moved by the letter, the woman couldn't get Martha's words out of her mind. She decided to share it with her coworkers. As she read the letter aloud, everyone grew quiet. One by one, they started pulling out their wallets.
"I can pitch in $5," said one. "Here’s $10," added another. Bit by bit, they pooled their money until they had $116—almost the full amount Martha needed.
They placed the money in an envelope and sent it anonymously to her address. For the rest of the day, they couldn't help but smile, imagining Martha's surprise and the joy she'd feel knowing someone cared. It was the kind of warmth that reminded them what Christmas was all about.
After Christmas, another letter from Martha arrived. Curious, the workers gathered to read it:
"Dear God,
Thank you for your kindness. Because of your gift of love, I had a wonderful dinner with my friends.

My name is Victoria, and after 65 years, I can confidently say that I've had a blessed and joyful life. My husband passed away a few years ago, and since then, it's just been me and the two beautiful souls we brought into this world — our children.
As Christmas approached, I felt a surge of worry. I wrote to my children, inviting them to come over. I didn't want to hear their voices through a phone line; I wanted to hug them and share all the stories I'd been saving!
To make it all happen, I started working as a cleaner at a furniture store in the mall. It's not glamorous, but it's honest work, and I was proud to be able to pay my bills and even buy presents for everyone. Or so I thought — until the day my kids found out.
They were angry, and after that, they avoided talking to me entirely. Still, I held onto hope. I thought, I'll see them at Christmas and explain everything. But as the days passed, the silence from them cut deeper than any words could have.
On Christmas Eve, I was over the moon with excitement. Each car sound made my heart leap, but with every passing hour, the hope in my heart began to fade. I started to worry as I stared at the empty chairs around the dining table.
I called them several times, but they didn't answer... Slowly, it dawned on me that I might spend this special day alone, just like so many others. But then, the doorbell finally rang.👇

JOKE OF THE DAY: A truck driver walks into a cafe on the Hume Highway with a full-grown emu behind him.
The waitress asks for his order.
The truckie says, "I'll have a hamburger, chips and a coffee." He turns to the emu, "What about you?"
"Sounds good to me, I'll have the same," the emu replies.
The waitress returns with their orders. "That'll be $10.50 please." The truckie reaches into his pocket, pulls out the exact change and pays her.
The next day, the truckie and the emu return. He repeats his order, "A hamburger, chips and a coffee, please." The emu repeats, "Sounds good. Same for me, please."
Once more, the truckie reaches into his pocket and produces the exact amount.
This is their routine for a couple of days. One night, the two enter again.
"I guess you'll have the usual?" asks the waitress.
"No, it's Friday night. I'll have a steak, baked potatoes and a salad," says the truckie. "Sounds great, same for me, too," says the emu.
The waitress brings the order and says, "That will be $32.65."
Once again the man pulls the exact change out of his pocket and places it on the table.
The waitress can't hold back her curiosity any longer. "You’ve really got me there, mate. How do you manage to always have the exact change every time?" ⬇️

I ADOPTED THE OLDEST SHELTER DOG WITH ONLY A MONTH TO LIVE – MY HUSBAND GAVE ME AN ULTIMATUM, "ME OR THE DOG"
After finding out Greg and I couldn’t have kids, the silence in our marriage just felt louder. One day, I suggested getting a dog. “Something to love,” I said. Greg wasn’t thrilled but agreed, as long as it wasn’t “some yappy little thing.”
At the shelter, I saw her—Maggie. A frail, gray-faced senior dog curled up in the back. Her tag said, 12 years old. Hospice adoption only. She looked so tired, so defeated. But when I knelt down, her tail wagged, just barely. I knew she was the one.
Greg thought I’d lost my mind. “That dog’s halfway to the grave,” he said. Then came the ultimatum: “If you bring her home, I’m leaving.”
He was gone by the time I brought Maggie home. She hobbled into the house, looked up at me, and wagged her tail a little stronger this time. I whispered, “It’s okay. We’ll figure it out.”
Six months later, I was walking out of a bookstore with a coffee in hand when I bumped into Greg.
He smirked as if he’d been waiting for this moment. “Well, well, Clara. Still all alone? Let me guess—your precious dog didn’t last long. Was it worth throwing your life away?”
Before I could respond, a young, beautiful woman strolled up and looped her arm through his.
“Oh,” Greg said, glancing at her, then back at me. “Figured it out yet? Yeah, I wasn’t exactly devastated when you picked the dog that day. It made leaving so much easier.”
I froze, his words hitting like a slap. “You were already cheating,” I whispered.
But suddenly, Greg's smug expression shifted—his smirk faltered, his face twisting into shock and anger. His eyes locked on something behind me.
“I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS!” he screamed. ⬇️
