B-Side fam! You may have heard we're throwing our first Riddim event under the alias @re.setla, and you're debating to pull up or not. 🤔 We're here to reel you back in and help with that decision. First, this won't be your typical riddim event. We got the Henny's in the house at the same venue as our previous event with Mala this time in a 360 boiler room style setting. 2nd, you know the lineup is going to be tasteful as we got UK legend @p0gman and a staple in US Dubstep @bommer_official. 🚨 We hope you guys pull up and support! Artist Spotlight ✨️ Mala, half of the acclaimed dubstep duo Digital Mystikz, and a multifaceted artist from London, had his early roots in reggae but found inspiration in drum'n'bass and jungle later on. Exploring the diverse sounds of jungle introduced him to jazz, funk, and a renewed appreciation for reggae, with Augustus Pablo serving as a guiding influence. His journey in music led him to spin dubstep on London's Rinse FM and eventually team up with DJ Coki to form Digital Mystikz. Together with friends Loefah and Sgt. Pokes, they established the influential DMZ club night, later expanding into the DMZ label. Mala also founded Deep Medi Musik, showcasing talent like Kromestar and Silkie. Their contributions made them pivotal figures in the underground dubstep scene, garnering support from icons like John Peel and Gilles Peterson. Peterson, in particular, formed a close bond with Mala, signing him to Brownswood Recordings and embarking on a musical exploration in Cuba, resulting in the 2012 release "Mala in Cuba." Subsequently, Mala ventured to Peru, immersing himself in the country's musical heritage and collaborating with local artists for his album "Mirrors," released by Brownswood in 2016. ✨️

Artist Spotlight ✨️ Martin Knowles aka Emalkay is an English dubstep producer, composer, and DJ hailing from Birmingham. Blending elements of grime, garage, reggae, and drum n bass, Emalkay has an extraordinary ability to infuse ominous melodic undertones, heart-stopping emotion, and booming bass into every set and track he touches. Martin made his breakthrough with well known anthems ‘When I Look at You’ and ‘Fabrication’, both featured on his debut album “Eclipse” (2011). These emotive tunes have radiated throughout the years and can still be heard on any dance floor. They discover a grand entrance carved into a cliff and walk into monumental caverns with meticulously designed rock formations, feeling a sacred atmosphere akin to a temple. As they approach an altar in the center, a radiant being, resembling the Ardor, materializes in a mesmerizing display of heat and light. Jak, entranced, realizes the being communicates through heat and learns that Taith is nearby. The being reveals a ceremonial site where Ardor and humans prepare for the end of their species. Jak understands Taith's purpose and the impending conclusion, marking a profound and imminent revelation. 🌌 🚀 ✨️ 👾

KOAN Sound - Led By Ancient Light Track 08 - Kindred Void 👇👇👇 Two days into their journey, Jak, relying on alcohol to sleep, and Ryker, immersed in DreamSphere, share a silent escape. Jak wakes to the breathtaking view of a nearby planet, momentarily forgetting his pain. A nostalgic Jak pulls Ryker out to admire the colossal planet. Reflecting on the exostation's revelations about the dying sun, they question the truth. Ryker's steadfast beliefs waver, and Jak grapples with the prospect of reuniting with his daughter. As they approach Ōmikam, Ryker spots the system's star, marking the final stretch of their journey. The anticipation grows as they realize Ōmikam is within reach, bringing a mix of emotions and a newfound sense of purpose. 🌌 🚀 ✨️ 👾

Artist Spotlight ✨️ Parker Williams produces soulful, emotive beats from across the musical spectrum under the name parkbreezy. As an instrumentalist, producer and artist, parkbreezy seeks to explore and fuse elements of resampling, syncopated percussion, propulsive bass lines and affectional melodies. His musical inspirations span from Hip Hop, R&B, Soul, Jazz and various forms of Electronic Music.
