The studio is located in an old warehouse, once used as a handbag factory. The unique configuration of brick and wood lends it self to be an inpsiring sounding recording studio. Seahorse features a room large enough for a small orchestra (23x30X24), and has acoustically unique spaces throughout the building. The control room houses a vintage Neve 8038 console and is located on a 2nd story overlooking the main live room. Please see our gear list for more equipment information.

Happy to announce our studios 20 year anniversary celebration. Feels surreal it’s been 20 years after living in my car and starting Seahorse Sound out of the back of my trunk at age 18. Anyway, come see the studio and hang. We will have drinks, music and it’s the ONE day I’ll geek over gear and it’s history. I might even drop a name. But probably not. Thank you for 20.
