Introduced initially on vinyl for the club DJ’s, this 3 track EP moved dance floors such that it was nominated for track of the year on the Giles Peterson BBC Radio 1 show. A founding member of Los Angeles based dance music collective EXTRA MILD SAUCE, Derrick continues to spread the Chi-town influenced soul through events such as “A Taste of Chicago,” “Golden Stereo,” “Wine Kandy,” and the annual Los Angeles summertime dance music festival returning to Griffith Park on June 23rd, “SOULNIC.”
