What has been living inside of me, the aftermath of experiencing the most unbearable and wretched pain. Of all my insides being twisted and desecrated and dying in the abyss and somehow coming back, somehow surviving. Reckoning with this loss has felt like drowning, capsized alone in the vast void. I wanted to devote myself to making something beautiful and raw for lawu, that can start to resonate with the ache inside of me since their death. With all the love inside of me and the love they gave me, I mourn and transmute. In life and death, intertwined beyond this sinister world, lawu eternally and forever. As death does us part.

🚨 ALL EYES ON GAZA: DAY OF ACTION TO DISRUPT COMPLICITY. 🚨

As the unrelenting bombardment of Gaza City by the Israeli occupation continues under the cover of a communications blackout, we must show up in the streets to tell the world: WE WILL NOT ABANDON GAZA.

The ground invasion of Gaza City is now underway as Israel attempts to annihilate any life that persists in its continuation of its genocide of the Palestinian people. Gaza City is the beating heart of Palestine, and now Israel threatens to destroy it and the 900,000 people who remain in their homes.

Just this week, a United Nations inquiry into Israel’s aggression on Gaza concluded with what the entire world has now become witness to: Israel’s bombardment of Gaza which has resulted in the murder and starvation of hundreds of thousands of Gazans is in fact a genocide.

While the US government and its Western allies continue to facilitate the genocide, the international community rejects Israel’s war crimes, and on September 22nd we will demonstrate this to the world.

We call on all people of conscience across the globe to take to the streets and demonstrate to the world that we stand with Gaza against the US-Israeli genocide!

We have joined the No Music For Genocide Campaign to Geo-Block Israel. Below are words from the organizers:

“Culture can’t stop bombs on its own, but it can help reject political repression, shift public opinion toward justice, and refuse the art-washing and normalization of any company or nation that commits crimes against humanity. This initiative is one part of a worldwide movement to erode the support Israel needs to continue its genocide. We’re inspired by the escalating efforts in pursuit of that goal, from the recent Film Workers For Palestine pledge to Spain’s ban of Israel-bound ships and planes to the Freedom Flotilla Coalition to Demilitarize Brooklyn Navy Yard to dockworkers in Morocco who’ve refused to load weapons onto vessels ordered by Tel Aviv.

Many of our peers have felt, like ourselves, unsure how to use music in this moment. Our first goal with No Music For Genocide is to inspire others to reclaim their agency and direct their influence toward a tangible act. We are so grateful for all of the artists, managers and labels who have already committed to this first step, and we’re excited to expand this together. The more of us there are, the stronger we will be. This is just the beginning.”

Yes, f**k Spotify, but also f**k Google, Meta, Apple, YouTube and every other platform and corporation directly funding and benefiting off the killing of innocent people and spreading nationalistic, racist, ableist & transphobic propaganda.

We know that we’re saying this from a Meta platform, but these are the current tools we have available to use for the furtherest reach.
