I took a friend to vote today at the Joseph Caputo Community Center in the village of Ossining. There was a sign for Proposition 1 on the property and clearly inside the 100-ft distance from the entrance. We told the officials who came out and left everything in place. In addition this woman was stopping people on their way in and asking them about the proposition, clearly also proscribed under the statute. Nothing was done about that either. I called the Ossining police department and advised them. They said they would send someone. I waited about 10 minutes and didn't see anyone.

I have raised this previously. There is a difference between sharp and righteous critique of the Democratic Party and the national security state, and promotion of the MAGA movement as some kind of revolutionary working class anti-elitist movement. This "analysis" comes across as a promotion of Trump's candidacy and the idea that "class struggle" is on the ballot in the contest between the two capitalist parties or ruling faction that is backing Trump versus the one backing Harris is preposterous. Also at the end you say to Monteiro "we will be back with you next week before the election" which leads me to think that it was recorded a week ago, prior to the latest stuff about Puerto Rico as an island of garbage and the outrage among Puerto Ricans in Philadelphia and elsewhere in Pennsylvania. I have told Hal Lohr that I do not want it to air.—iGM

Mika Brzezinski is the daughter of Jimmy Carter's National Security Advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski, the architect of the anti-Soviet policy which led ultimately to the collapse of the USSR in 1991. State Department spokesperson Mark Miller, when asked about the massive violations of international law being committed by Israel on a daily basis now, said "we have dozens of lawyers in this building working on that very question now" with a huge smirk across his face.
This is in the face of various decisions by the international court of justice to the contrary. And of course it happens as Israel has murdered tens of thousands of children and almost 50,000 civilians in the past 12 months and condemned more than a million and a half people to homelessness who now face the starvation under fire as well. This isn't Trump's State Department spokesperson. This is Biden's, and Harris has not objected yet.

In October, 2009 I visited Libya's capital Tripoli for a conference held to discuss the political theory underlying that country's economic, political and social system. I was there as part of a delegation called "Dignity" assembled and led by former Rep. Cynthia McKinney.
Upon our return, some members did community outreach events to discuss what we had learned. One member of our group, Pat Hill, a retired police officer from Chicago PD, organized and led one such event in Chicago. Pat asked me to come to Chicago and livestream and record the event.
