We’re making progress on Sunset Pier 94 Studios! All of the piles have been installed and the last concrete pour for the pier shed was completed last month. Next up - erecting steel for the head house. 👷🚧🛠️

Netflix is hosting its sixth annual FYSEE event at Sunset Las Palmas Studios this year! 🎉

The event kicked off last Sunday with a screening and panel Q&A of their hit limited series, “Griselda.”

From 1933 to 1937, Reliable Pictures Corporation produced and distributed Western films. Their studio can be seen here on the corner of Sunset and Beachwood.

Today, that corner is home to 6040 Sunset, a 115,000 SF Class A Office that serves as the headquarters for Picture Shop, part of Streamland Media, an award-winning postproduction company.

In 1928, the mansion served as the impressive façade for Warner Brothers Studios. Producers and animators Darryl Zanuck, Jack Warner, Eddie Foy and Leon Schlesinger can be seen sitting in front of the landmark radio tower for KFWB.

Now, the mansion still stands preserved in its original glory and the broadcast tower transmits for KTLA.

We’re passionate about preserving our history to inspire the next generation of filmmakers and storytellers.

Located at Sunset Gower Studios, Building 28, also known as the Abby Singer building, is named after the legendary assistant director. When the crew would ask him how many shots were left to do before they wrapped, Abby would answer, “This shot and one more.” His name quickly became synonymous with the penultimate shot of the day, and it’s commonly referred to as the “Abby Singer” shot in the industry.
