WE ADOPTED A 3-YEAR-OLD BOY — WHEN MY HUSBAND WENT TO BATHE HIM FOR THE FIRST TIME, HE SHOUTED, "WE MUST RETURN HIM!"

I've been married to my husband for 10 years, and after struggling to have a child, we decided to adopt. My husband, a busy businessman, didn't have the time to focus on the process, so I took it upon myself to call agencies, submit paperwork, and review lists of children in need of homes.

We initially planned to adopt an infant, but the demand was high. Then I found a photo of a 3-year-old boy whose mother had abandoned him. The boy's big blue eyes captured my heart.

When I showed the photo to my husband, he liked Sam too. We talked it over and felt ready for this commitment.

So, we completed the paperwork and a month later, we brought Sam home. I was overjoyed! My husband even offered to bathe him for the first time to build a connection, and I felt so relieved that he was excited about becoming a dad.

I ACCIDENTALLY DISCOVERED ON THANKSGIVING THAT MY HUSBAND HAD A SECOND FAMILY

Thanksgiving dinner was full of laughs, turkey, and family. We decided to play a phone game (seen in a movie)—answering each other's texts and calls. When Emmett's (my husband of 25 years) phone buzzed, it was my turn. I picked it up, expecting a boring message. Instead, it read:

"Don't forget, on Thursday we're moving Eliza's things for her performance. Excited for our daughter's premiere!"

Daughter?! I froze. But everyone was watching, so I faked it, reading an old text about a phone bill and passed the phone back, smiling. Inside? I was spiraling.

The next day, I found the address from the message. It led to a small school theater. Inside, a 16-year-old girl was performing on stage. I found Emmett, sitting next to a blonde woman holding flowers. Both looked so proud. And the girl? She looked JUST LIKE HIM.

My parents divorced when I was seven and my dad's been in and out of my life ever since. Promises of trips to the park were made and broken, birthdays missed, and then he tried to make up for his absence with gifts.

POOR OLD MAN STEPS OUT OF HIS HOUSE ONE MORNING & SEES A NEW LUXURY CAR INSTEAD OF HIS OLD ONE.

80-year-old Gregory Smith stood on his front porch, dumbfounded. He pinched himself twice to ensure he wasn't dreaming and called out to his wife, Cynthia, as he stared at the contents of the envelope in his hand and then at the gleaming sports car in front of his house.

"Cynthia! Cynthia! Come here quickly!" His hands were trembling with anxiety at the sight of the new car standing in the place of his old one.

"What's the matter with you, Gregory?" Cynthia emerged from inside, drying her hands on a towel and frowning. "I burnt a pancake because of you! If you don't know, we were down to our last packet of pancake mix! And you're just standing here? When are you planning on going to the grocery store?"

Gregory waved his hand dismissively. "Look at this, Cynthia," he said, showing her the envelope he had found on their front porch. "There were car keys inside the envelope and our old car is gone! Look over there," he added, pointing to where he had parked his old car the night before. "That's a brand new car! Who could have done this? What should I do now?"

"And there's no note inside or anything indicating who sent this?" Cynthia asked, confused.

"I already double-checked the envelope. There is none! What do we —"

BOSS HEARS EMPLOYEE SHAMING A CLEANING LADY AND LATER DISCOVERS SHE’S HER MOM.

Brooklyn had only been at the company a month and seemed sweet—maybe too much. The cleaning lady stood with her head down while Brooklyn, hands on her hips, berated her loudly, “What the heck have you done?! I’ll make sure you’re fired from here.”

However, upon entering the house, Harry and his wife realized they needed to repair the entire place.

"Don't worry, we will revamp this house ourselves," Harry said. "It would take a lot of hard work, but I'm sure we can make things work."

The next day, Harry got rid of the trash inside the house. He was in the attic when he climbed the ladder to reach the topmost drawer. He opened it and pulled out a black plastic bag.
