The highly asked for, 10 cd mystery box, is back for a limited time.

Every year, we get returns from our distributor to make space for new titles. Just like they need space, we do too. So rather than add the stock back onto our shelves, they get packed up into our mystery boxes.

However this time, I am also adding non GH titles into the mix. We often overstock on titles, and with new inventory coming weekly, it just makes sense to unload as much as possible before the year ends.

Please note, you may receive duplicates if you order more than 1 or have ordered in the past. These are often pre packaged so we don't get to choose what you receive. But if you're new to the label, it's a fun way to check out and discover new bands.

Question
we have an upcoming EP/Single that I wasn't planning on releasing on CD. However, I know the majority of you are avid CD collectors and will demand the format.

I am already looking at pressing a 100 copies for those who might be interested.

Here is the dilemma - I have been wanting to do something on a 3 inch disk for a while, but I know you can't really play these on every type of CD player. So I am now considering a standard CD in a cardboard sleeve. I know many people aren't fans of anything in cardboard/digipak packaging. However, being a limited format, It doesn't make sense to go full on Jewel case.

What would YOU prefer?
Either or will be limited to only 100 and will never be available again.

We wanted to make this song our first single to represent our theme of serial killers but also represent our city of Los Angeles in a twisted way of how psychotic L.A. can be.”

Long post ahead...
This is personal, but I felt very few of us talk about this on a serious level, in fear of feeling ridiculed or dismissed.

I've never opened up about ADHD here, but if you're unfamiliar with it, one of the worst symptoms feel's like you have 6 children living in your mind. All talking at the same time. All all wanting to do something different. All of them bring up the past, present, and future for random reasons. All of the conversions are loud unless your mind is distracted with something else.

It's a type of noise you learn to live with depending on the severity. You don't know which voice to listen to, so you either listen to them all, or listen to none of them.

Because of this, you often procrastinate and leave things to the very last minute. This is because you either feel overwhelmed by multiple things, or underwhelmed by the very task you're putting aside until it becomes strangely urgent. In which case, all you can do it hyper focus on it. There's way more to it but this has been some of the hardest to deal with, over the last couple of years.

Most of us find a way to work around it by trying different substances. Some examples include (but not limited to):
◾️Caffeine - will give you the jolt that you need to get moving on things you don't feel like doing it
◾️Booze - will help slow the mind enough, when all you want to do is shut the noise down

I started feeling the "noise" getting louder. More distractions. Harder to get through tasks and leaving more things to do until time was running out. I'd space out to think about the labels past/future when I should be focusing on the present. The list goes on and on.

Today, I took my first dosage of Adderall (an ADHD medication). Let me just say, the noise has surely diminished. Maybe I'm over analyzing it but 6 voices feel like they have turned into 2. Much less distractions. Similar feeling of having a drink to slow down the conversions in my mind. I've been able to finish a few different tasks this morning, without jumping between projects.

This is pretty impressive. I usually multitask so often, that it feels like it takes days to finish anything. I wanted to take a moment to note down this thought, as well as let you know that if you have similar symptoms, and feel like s**t for not being able to accomplish a task, you're not alone. Reach out if you need to vent. Some of the best conversions I've had recently has been with people that have similar symptoms. I didn't feel judged. I felt understood.

There's not enough ADHD awareness in the metal community. Rather than shy away, I'd rather build a beacon of trust and support for anyone struggling with it.

I also want to add that I am not encouraging anyone to consume anything. Medication is not for everyone and symptoms definitely vary. I continue to operate GHP alone. If the label wasn't so demanding of me, I wouldn't have sought out medication.

Quick rundown on our upcoming sale/web store:

Our holiday sale this year will be the longest we've had so far. It is scheduled to begin this Monday, and will last until the following Monday, Nov. 27. Certain Restrictions will apply.

I removed most out of stock items from the shop to avoid clutter. While doing so, I noticed some items that wont be getting restocked, had inventory of just 1 or 2 units. Don't sleep on them.

If you have an open order with "in stock" items, please check your spam folder (especially if you use gmail). Some of these orders need address corrections or updates and are awaiting a reply.

Lastly, Sepsism LPs are still in line for production. I reached out to the plant on Friday and I should have an update next week. As an indie, we don't get priority on turnaround time. All we can do is wait. Thank you for the patience.

As someone who openly promoted the benefits of using Spotify for musicians, I wanted to remind you that if this in fact goes into effect, independent artist and labels can CHOOSE to remove their catalog from the platform. This potentially means, several thousand of its users will eventually cancel their subscription and/or switch to a different platform, causing Spotify a sure loss.

Can you imagine if Metal as a whole was removed from the platform? While its unlikely, even "big" independent metal labels would be affected by this.

I will definitely be keeping an eye on this and how it develops and encourage other indies to do so as well.

Smaller bands and artists who stream their material on Spotify may start making even less than they did before, thanks to some reported new royalty payout structure changes coming to the platform.

Here's an early and a glimpse to my high-school days.

When I was 14 or 15 years old, I traded a Gameboy Pokémon game for this double disk compilation. This release was my first real introduction to "extreme" metal. The compilation features the likes of , , , , , Disincarnate, and many many more. Little did I know this compilation would guide me to where I stand today. It's the main reason why compilation albums are so important to me. Although I played the hell out of both disks, they still play without any issues.

Furthermore, the Sony cd player is almost as old. I carried everywhere and between classes. It continues to run like it purchased yesterday.

"Otakuslam Animecide" and "Eien Parasites" vinyls have arrived and they look wonderful.

Things to note:
Otakuslam Animecide Pink Splatter is sold out. There may be some stock leftover from canceled orders but it's uncertain at the moment.

Eien Parasites Clear 7" is limited to 200. Standard Black version is also available.

The plant mixed up our request to have the 12" shipped in poly sleeves rather than have them shrink wrapped. This means I have to open each one to insert lyric sheet and to remove the vinyl from the sleeve to avoiding seems splits as much as possible.

There's several orders that are pending between both releases so please be patient as I work through them all.

If you have any address change request to make, please do it now. If you have sent a request but haven't gotten a reply, please keep sending them until I confirm address update.

Don't mind me while I pour some thoughts out, as this is something I was thinking about recently...

I, like many, receive demos/submissions as often as 10 times a week. I'd say, the percentage of those subs that I actually check out are pretty slim. To be honest, I don't know what will actually cause me to check out a demo/sub. I am still trying to figure that out.

I will say, there are multiple reasons why I won't. Some are the obvious, such as: lack of attempt to properly showcase your project/music, lack of proper information (bio, band links, photos, etc.), blank emails with mp3 attached, and so on.

Other reasons however (and it's no ones's fault beyond my own personal preference), include:
Bands location
Bands social media audience
Bands social media engagement
Bands release history
Bands previous labels

These things have stopped me from pressing play on a bands sub. While I strongly believe that the Music is a key component to any bands existence, I also believe that time is a key component to our own existence. Seeing the amount of time that it could take to get a band up and running (to our standards) has to be considered each and every time I decide to take on a new project. I know this can be seen as a s**tty excuse for a label to turn down a sub. And I am okay with that.

Where I am going with this, is that those reasons shouldn't stop you as an artist/band from continuing to submit or even self releasing your material. I am one of many who are here to help those interested in growing their audience. However, if you are met with a solid decline wherever you turn, please consider what you have to offer and to who.
