The Family
The Grove Street Families (short: GSF, also simply called Families) is a road course from Los Angeles, based on the real course "Bloods" is named after the Grove Street, probably the origin of the course and home to many. Unlike their arch-rivals, the Ballas and the enemies, the Vagos have the family decided against the trade of illegal drugs. Even then, should the Ballas have been the
sworn enemies of the Groves. At the time the family had been a major influence in the city and were probably the most dominant program in Los Santos. 1992 Beverly Johnson is the mother of Sean in a drive-by shooting the Ballas versa killed and her second son Carl returned to Los Santos. Together they decide to Sweet to retake the city from Ballas. Together with Big Smoke and Ryder they start multiple attacks on the Ballas and take some of their districts on (including Glen Park). Finally, it is possible the Sweet Families reunite (→ Reuniting the Families). At a meeting of the GSF-Mulholland intersection leads to an ambush by the Ballas in which many die Groves and her boss Sweet is arrested (→ The Green Sabre). CJ, however, is forced to go into exile. Once again it comes to the worst of the transition. Ganton will become the main battleground for the drug deal in Los Santos and occupy all of the Groves neighborhood taken over by the Ballas. After a long time coming Sweet with the help of Mike Toreno released and taken to Carl Ganton (→ Homecoming) and some parts of Idlewood (→ Grove 4 Life). After a few more gang wars finally gained massively reduced by the dissolution of Big Smoke's drug syndicate of drug trafficking in Los Angeles. . . .
Band members. The supporters of the GSF are called Groves. The Grove Street Families were established in the 70s. Seems quite early the GSF reject the drug trade.
