My cry & plea to my family of "HOUSE HEADS"
I, Terence Craig Toy started on my "HOUSE-MUSIC" journey 4 decades ago this year 2023. I am grateful for this 40 year plus trek & its continuance to date! I have been blessed to perform in numerous countries; Mexico, Canada, Japan, Korea & China just to share a few. I've played in almost all 50 of the U.S.of A. It's been a lovely experience all through my love for music.
Now, I ask a favor of everyone — every HOUSE HEAD & even JAZZ HEAD — to help me with my current venture I call "TRIBAL-TRIBUTE".
In 1995, I fell in love with African, Afro, Afro-Cuban & Tribal-House music. These rhythms changed my trajectory to focus solely on these subgenres of HOUSE music & here we are today, nearly 30 years later. I began the year Noah E.Toy was born, 1996, to devote my musical mind solely to these indigenous sounds of House!
I have not turned back.
I am here to ask EVERY person I have touched musically, helped musically, saved musically & inspired musically to now help me in getting "TRIBAL-TRIBUTE" off the ground.
On August 19th, 2023 we bring you "Tribal-Tribute" Volume 2. Tribal Tribute first launched Saturday June 24, 2023 & it was cool, however it could be better; it should be better, IT WILL BE BETTER. Us OG/ORIGINAL HOUSE HEADS deserve for Tribal Tribute to be better. We’re all mature, working class, professional people with families & a ton of more responsibilities now than in our early days of House Music. WE DESERVE A SATURDAY NIGHT HOUSE MUSIC ESCAPE & RELEASE and I vow to bring it to you but I need y'all's support.
I request that everyone I've blessed with music purchase a ticket — or 2 on Event-Brite to support me even if you cannot attend, even if you live outside of Los Angeles. I'm asking for your love and support. So look up TRIBAL TRIBUTE 2 on Eventbrite. Tickets are $10 in advance. It happens on a Saturday, so we can't complain it's a school night or a work day. Come and see some old friends' faces and dance for 30 minutes at minimum, LOL.
