Bought this HUGE couch for $20 at Goodwill in West Bend, Wisconsin.
It felt velvety and looked brand new. Not a single crumb or speck underneath any of the cushions. I loved the sunflower print. 🌻 I searched everywhere on it for some sort of marking of the date/manufacturer, and I found nothing. I have no idea how old the couch is, or where it came from.
The couch sat in storage for 2 years until recently, when I moved to a new home. I didn’t have room to keep it though.
I live off a fairly busy street. I sat the couch on the curb and it was gone within the hour.
As silly as it sounds, the couch filled me with hope long ago. I bought it shortly after leaving a toxic relationship, and dreamt of having my own peaceful bachelorette pad. ❤️
Oh, how plans change! Looking at the couch now, I don’t know if it’s hideous or boho-fabulous… 😂 Either way, I hope whoever grabbed it gets good use out of it! 🌞

My grandfather has this buried in his basement and I never saw it until after he passed. As a first generation Czech boy living in Chicago, he refused to speak his native language - even to his parents, who spoke broken English, as a way to “fit in” to the world around him. But in later years he was fiercely patriotic and loved everything about the Czech culture (and American culture too). Finding this was like a little window into the past. I feel super lucky to own it now and my son loves to peek inside at the treasures images from long ago!

Finally have something to post! Went to a church sale with my mom and found these two vintage Lusch Erzeugnis stools/chairs(?) for $15. They look like mushrooms and I immediately squealed. I can’t find any info on them other than who made them because it’s on the bottom! Can’t wait to clean them and find a place for them 😭🥰 Found in Grand Junction, CO

This is my husband's not-so-weird but definitely wonderful secondhand find!! It was his anniversary gift to me in December. I have slept with the original, beat up Duckapus (because he's like a duck/platypus) since I was 9 years old (that's 21 years)! Husband found a basically new one on eBay and gifted it to me "in case something happens to Duckapus."
When I say I cried, I mean I sobbed!! The most meaningful gift ever!!

Found this trayzure on FB marketplace a few years ago. The gal selling it said she & her husband bought it because it reminded them of That 70s Show😂they were selling it because the chairs aren’t toddler friendly. I’ve never been more excited about a marketplace purchase!
