Walt Disney Pictures is an American film studio owned by The Walt Disney Company. Shortly after the company was made, Walt produced fifty-seven Alice comedies.

Walt Disney Studios was originally the Disney Brothers Cartoon Studio, that Walt Disney created with his business partner and brother, Roy, in 1923. They also created a series of twenty six cartoons with Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. Walt then began creating Mickey Mouse, but soon Walt reunited himself with his early business partner, Ub Iwerks, and was established as the studio's top animator. The fir

st Mickey cartoon, Plane Crazy, was animated by Ub. Since Mickey Mouse became so popular, the studio created Mickey Mouse merchandise which helped with the studio's revenue. Sadly the company went through bankruptcy during the 1930s. But, the company created Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, which became a huge financial success. With the profits from Snow White, Walt created a new studio in California.[1]
