Rest in peace Uncle Butch. This one’s tough for me. We came out to Wisconsin to lay my uncle, my mom’s brother, to rest and spread his ashes at the Lake he grew up on.

Him and his wife, Julie, raised me and my sister from the ages of 7 to 16 before I moved to Miami. He taught me responsibility, hard work, dedication, and to always keep a smile on my face. He showed me the importance of faith in God and treating others how you want to be treated.

Before he passed, we had a great conversation where he told me he was at peace, proud of me, and didn’t want me to get down. He said it was important for me to stay happy and positive because he loved that about me. So I’ll do just that.

I love you Uncle, and I’m sure I’ll see you on the other side🙏🏾

My wife and I have been together almost 16 years.
